Lighting design

A waste-to-energy plant designed by Astrup and Hellern Architects, located in the hillside on the outskirts of Kristiansand, Norway.

The building sits as a beacon in the Norwegian landscape. Rambøll lighting’s concept included Illumination of the ovens, chimney and facade, as well as road and landscape lighting. Minimal light pollution was a key consideration for the design team.
